Alevtina Ioffethe first Russian woman to be appointed music director of a theatre, conducts a concert with solo violin and orchestra that focuses onthree giants of late Romanticism: Čajkovskijwhose “Mozartiana” Suite is performed, Dvořákwith his Czech Suite, and while tribute is paid to Brahmswith his Violin Concerto Opus 77.
The soloist is Anna Tifu, a young Italian-Romanian violinist who has already enjoyed a long international career, accompanied by the expertise of the ORT musicians.
